The issue period for the stamp for the 37th St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is January 16, 2017 until March 31, 2017 and persons are able to pre-order online.
The numbered series comprises to 10 stamps showcasing regatta scenes that tie into the event’s “Serious Fun” theme. The stamps offer a snap shot of the Regatta’s star studded parties and boats races.
The stamp set, priced at US $10 each, is the perfect gift item for collectors or for St. Maarten Heineken Regatta fans. The stamp sets will be available online via wopa-stamps.com and locally at Shipwreck Shops, the Post Office and the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta Office next to the Simpson Bridge.
Would you like to get your boat on a stamp? It’s possible! Participate in the 37th St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, win your class and get invited for the Radio Controlled Laser racing during the Monday St. Maarten Heineken Star event. The overall winner will be crowned St. Maarten Heineken Star and wins a reserved spot for his boat on the 2018 stamp set.
